Messengerbag Sewing Pattern in 2 Sizes (for Tablet & Laptop) + Instruction in German & English

This messenger bag offers optimal protection for your tablet, laptop or other items with a specially padded interior compartment. It also has two inner compartments and an extra zipped compartment on the back. The shoulder strap is adjustable and can be adapted to your individual needs. Whether the bag accompanies you to work or on your travels, with it you have everything neatly stowed away.

The bag consists of several individual parts that you put together piece by piece with the sewing machine. Since non-stretch materials are used here, most of the processing is very easy and can also be done by sewing beginners. Every step is explained to you in detail with pictures and text, so that even sewing in the zips is no problem. However, you should have a little patience as this sewing project will take several hours.


WHAT SIZE IS THE BAG?

Tablet bag: approx. 30cm x 25cm x 8cm
It can be taken on the plane as hand luggage without any problems and on selected airlines it can even be brought on board as an additional piece of personal luggage to the cabin trolley. Papers and books that are SMALLER than DIN A4 fit in this bag.

Laptop bag: approx. 40cm x 30cm x 12cm
If you need a little more storage space to accommodate school books, university materials or A4 notepads, then this bag version is the right one for you.



WHAT MATERIALS DO I NEED?

You can find the exact materials and quantities in the product photos. For the outer fabric, sturdier fabrics such as canvas and leatherette are suitable. For the inner lining, simple cotton woven fabric works. To make the bag sturdier and more stable, it is advisable to use an appropriate volume fleece.

WHO IS THE PATTERN SUITABLE FOR?

It is an advantage if you have sewn before and have used different materials. As long as you know how to use a sewing machine and have a little patience and perseverance, you can also make the bags if you have just started sewing.


WHAT FORMAT DO THE PATTERN AND INSTRUCTIONS COME IN?

The PDF file is designed for DIN A4 format. You can print out the pages and glue them together according to the markings.
